Terms and conditions of Sales and Other General Information

· Customers may verify the purity of Hallmarked and HUID-certified jewellery/artifacts at any BIS-recognized Assaying and Hallmarking Centre.

· A comprehensive list of BIS-recognized Assaying and Hallmarking Centres, along with their addresses and contact information, is available at www.bis.gov.in.

· Jewellery purchased from Gupta Jewellers can be exchanged within 7 days from the date of the invoice, strictly at the same showroom where the item was originally purchased. The item must be returned in its original, untampered condition.

· Exchange or refund will not be permitted if the jewellery has been tampered with, altered, misused, or damaged.

· Refunds in cash or through any other form of payment will not be entertained in exchange for jewellery.

· The tax invoice value shall be considered final, regardless of fluctuations in the gold rate on the date of exchange. Any new purchase made during the exchange will be calculated based on the prevailing diamond/stone rates on the date of purchase.

· New purchases against an exchange will be billed at the gold rate applicable on the date of the fresh purchase.

· Gold value will be determined based on the net weight of the gold and the prevailing rate on the date of exchange. Net weight excludes the weight of pearls, stones, lac, dust, or other non-gold materials.

· Diamonds will be valued at 80% of the original invoice price based on the current market rate and as per the prevailing exchange policy.

· Precious stones and gemstones are not eligible for exchange or cashback.

· Making charges, applicable taxes, and any discounts availed at the time of the original purchase will be deducted when calculating the net exchange value, in accordance with our policy.

· Jewellery not purchased from Gupta Jewellers or from other showrooms will be subject to a 10% deduction on the gold value, as per our current policy.

· Cash refunds will be allowed only for amounts below the government-prescribed limit of INR 10,000.

· Refunds above INR 10,000 will be processed via account payee cheque or NEFT/RTGS in the customer's name. The processing time is 7–10 working days.

· The valuation determined by Gupta Jewellers shall be considered final and binding.

· Gupta Jewellers reserves the right to modify the above terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

· The liability of Gupta Jewellers is limited strictly to the value of the relevant transaction.

· All legal disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

· An additional charge of 1% & 1.5% of the invoice value will apply for payments made via domestic debit & credit cards respectively.

For international credit card payments, an extra 3.5% of the invoice value will be charged.
